Penguin Parent Education Network is a privately run parenting centre that is affiliated with the Australian Children’s Contact Services Association (ACCSA). Penguin Parent Education Network is a leading centre in ensuring that all private and funded services are run to the same high standards. Our staff are all qualified and we work closely with ACCSA to ensure positive outcomes for children and families are obtained.

Penguin strives to make reuniting families a less stressful and more positive experience. We believe that maintaining family relationships in times of separation is key for both parents and children, which is why our supervised contact service help bridge the gap between them during these difficult situations.

Procedure for Supervised Contact Visit

PROCEDURES FOR SUPERVISON DAY

1. The parent to be supervised arrives at centre at least 15 minutes before contact.

2. The primary carer arrives with child at correct agreed time, NOT before or after.

3. The primary carer texts the centre.

4. Supervised contact visit or changeover takes place.

5. The primary carer arrives at correct agreed time upon completion of contact, NOT before or after.

6. Primary carer texts the centre. Children are returned to the primary carer who then leaves.

6. The parent being supervised departs centre no less than 15 minutes after contact finishes.

How to Book a Supervised Contact Visit

Please note during the application process, Penguin will conduct an intake interview phone call with each parent separately prior to their child's admission. Once approved, families can easily book subsequent sessions at any time!
