How we are different
- Comprehensive and separate intake for each parent including free orientation for the child. We set children (and their parents) up for success by seeking to establish relationships before children are in any potentially anxiety producing situations
- The supervised parent has a 15 min buffer either side of the visit and remains in a room with no visual access to the street. Parents never cross paths.
- We have a unique and ground-breaking orientation process for children which has been featured in a peer reviewed journal and showcased at the National Family & Relationships Services Australia Conference 2024.
- We are a member of FLPA, FLPN, ACCSA and FRSA, and remain current with family law amendments and best practice.
- Our early childhood background reassures parents of babies and infants as our orientation and intake ensures they have all they need for consistency in their care and routine.
- Excursions to and from Penguin are included in the fees on a case-by-case basis. We are lucky to have access to the beautiful Broadwater Parklands and many other local options.
- One supervisor per family and more often than not 1 family at a time.
- Clients or their child who have an NDIS plan may use that funding for visits.
- We offer many other parenting courses including Parenting After Separation and Transitions (PAST), Circle of Security and Parenting Support Coaching.
